The damai lovina villas is perched on top of a valley offering gripping and panoramic views of the valley and lovina bay. Set in a lush tropical garden with views to the surrounding countryside it is only a few hours from the airport, and light years away from the crowds. This retreat is dedicated to the finer things in life - beauty, tranquility and very good food. The damai lovina villas is bali's gourmet retreat, offering eight bungalows with a softly spoken elegance, and a restaurant worth the journey. The bungalows are appointed with antiques, find woods, meticulous craftsmanship and beautiful textiles recreating ancient indonesian patterns. They feature spacious open-air bathrooms, some of which have a whirlpool spa. The resort's restaurant uses organic produce from its own gardens, and spices from the field next door. Combining the best of european and asian traditions, the cuisine at damai has been acclaimed and celebrated in the press, as a meal well worth the money. The spa offers a full range of both traditional and innovative spa treatments either in the privacy of the guest's villa or at the pavilion overlooking the neighboring rice paddies.
